Castro is an app for today's broad-minded podcast enthusiast.
There have never been as many great podcasts available as there are now. Incredible stories, multiple perspectives on news, and diverse opinions are all just a few taps away.
Castro is the first app that is designed to help you expand your listening habits and track a broad range of shows without getting overwhelmed.
If you know the iTunes ID of your podcast you can link to its page on Castro using the following format:
https://castro.fm/itunes/ITUNES_ID
To determine you iTunes ID you can look at the URL for your podcast in iTunes. It will be something like:
https://itunes.apple.com/ca/podcast/supertop-podcast/id1143273587?mt=2
That number at the end between id
and ?
is your iTunes ID, so in this case 1143273587
The share page for your podcast will look like this one, with your artwork, author information and summary. On iPhone listeners will be able to easily tap through from the share page to open your podcast in Castro. They also have the option to listen to other podcast apps using links conveniently placed in the footer of that page.
These buttons can be used to link to Castro. Also, feel free to create your own to match the style of your site using our app icon resources.

Castro was originally founded by Supertop, a small indie partnership that made top quality apps. In 2018 Supertop sold Castro to Tiny Capital.
Supertop was Pádraig Ó Cinnéide and Oisín Prendiville. They met in Dublin City University in 2005 and worked in partnership with each other for over 7 years. Pádraig and Oisín reside in Vancouver, BC Canada.
Tiny Podcast Company is Castro's new home post acquisition by Tiny Capital.
After the transition to Tiny Capital Pádraig eventually joined Apple, and handed the reigns over to friend of the pod, Jesse Herlitz. Jesse had been contributing design to Castro for some time, and was VP of Product at Flow, another Tiny Capital company. He lives deep in the woods of British Columbia. Oisín continues to lead development on Castro.
